The Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation has awarded Harris School 8th grade teacher Erin Bohannon the 2025 Excellence in Teaching Award.
This award recognizes educators who are making a positive impact through innovative teaching methods and dedication to their students. Each recipient receives a $1,000 grant for classroom expenses, while their school will receive an additional $1,000 to fund educational initiatives.
“Our schools are fortunate to have incredible teachers and staff working together to provide students with the best possible education,” said Dr. Yamil Sanchez Rivera, Superintendent. “We are so proud of Mrs. Bohannon for receiving this prestigious award. She represents the very best of our district and our commitment to innovation and student success.”
